General Information
Report your child’s absence - please call 481-4863 by 10am.
Late to school – Written excuse or phone call from parent is required if a child arrives late to school.
Requests for Homework – Only after a child’s 3rd day of absence may office staff request homework from teachers. At that time, a parent should call the office before 8:30 a.m. to request homework.
Requests for Early Dismissal - As stated in the handbook, written permission is needed for a child’s early dismissal from school. Students should bring notes for early dismissal to the office between 7:30 & 8 a.m. to receive permission to leave class for necessary appointments.
After School Transportation – Note not necessary. Please be sure your child is aware of after school transportation arrangements before coming to school so phone calls are not necessary.
School Phone Use – Except in emergency situations, students may not use school phones to receive phone calls or make calls to parents. Cell phones must be turned off and stored in locker. Students may not use cell phones during school hours.
Drop Off/Pick Up – Before 4:00pm, if you drop off or pick up your child, please use the north side. The south side (circle drive) of building is used for buses only between 7:00am and 4:00pm.
Health Services – There is a strict policy on administration of medication to students at school-- prescription or any over-the counter medicine. Doctor’s written orders for prescriptions, parent’s written instructions, and all medicines in the original container and properly labeled are requirements. Please see policy for specifications.

Cafeteria Money - Deposits may be made to cafeteria account on registration days. Cost of student lunch per day is $2.50. Extra milk is 25 cents. Breakfast will be served 7:25-7:55 each morning for $1.50. Throughout the year, students are encouraged to make deposits to their account during the breakfast time.
